DYSON
A downloadable game for macOS
DYSON is a narrative idle/clicker about fleeing a universe that is being unmade, one star at a time.
Something called the Pale is killing suns decades ahead of every model, and the only way forward is out. Build a Dyson sphere around each dying star, harvest its last light, and fire a fleet of solar-sail arks toward the next system before the dark catches up. Then do it again. And again. And again. You play across five hand-crafted chapters, each a complete star system with its own worlds, society, and reckoning: - Sol — Earth's collapse.
Build the first sphere from desperation and memory.
- Proxima — A patient red dwarf that was supposed to outlive everything. It doesn't.
- Castor — Twin gold suns. Ten generations born in the arks split into two peoples: settlers and voyagers.
- Rigel — A blue supergiant counting down to supernova. Don't unpack. Build a launch rail. Sprint.
- Erebus — A black hole at the bottom of a dead cosmos, the heretic dream of a door out, and another refugee civilization already orbits it, building the same door you are. Mine asteroids and accretion disks. Raise orbital labs. Run three concurrent research queues. Forge a Dyson sphere piece by piece — vertex, edge, panel — around your dying sun. Fire ark after ark on captured starlight. Carry every tech you ever researched into the next chapter as a 4,000-year-old fleet's worth of knowledge.
Features:
- Five star systems, each with unique planets, resources, threats, and voices
- 170+ voiced story beats from named characters spanning ten thousand years of exile
- Custom pixel-art engine: every probe, collector, lab, ark, and sphere panel is on-screen and animated
- 50+ techs, three concurrent research labs, per-lab queues
- A first-contact arc with the alien Concord — silent signals → mathematical handshake → mutual trade → joint construction of the final megastructure
- Active clickers finish far faster; patient ones can let the orbital economy carry them
- Save anywhere, rolling save history (you can't accidentally lose a run)
- Plays on desktop and mobile; quiet, atmospheric, no ads
- Five dying stars. One fleet. The dark behind, the dark ahead. Build the door.
